Andrew Kalish has been studying the martial arts for over twenty years. He has studied Judo, Hapkido, and Tang Soo Do, and holds a Second Degree Black Belt from the International Tang Soo Do Federation. After studying these classical martial arts, Andrew searched for a more practical and complete self-defense system to evolve as a martial artist, when he discovered the concept of Jeet Kune Do from Mr. Eric Wnek. The flowing system of Jeet Kune Do allowed Andrew to combine the different skills he had learned, as well as many new skills as developed by the founder Bruce Lee. When these new concepts and skills proved to be effective in real life practical situations, Andrew became a full-time student of Mr. Eric Wnek. Andrew found Jeet Kune Do to provide the
emotional satisfaction of traditional martial arts as well as the most
effective practical self defense fighting skills. Andrew's desire to spread the concepts of Jeet Kune Do prompted him to become co-owner of Elite Jeet Kune Do of Norwalk, CT. Andrew welcomes the opportunity to discuss the prospects of training at Elite Jeet Kune Do of Norwalk, whether one is a beginner or an experienced martial artist.
